The year 2107 marks the 1900th anniversary of Emperor Hadrian’s accession to the throne of Rome. On this occasion, a large exhibition was held in Seville and Madrid, organized by different national and international institutions.
The documentary was filmed in seven countries with the participation of 20 experts, and covers Adriatic sites such as Luxor, Delphi, Ephesus, Vindolanda, Vila Adriana and Italica. With a 3D reconstruction of the Traiaeum of Italica, never before reconstructed with this technology.
For 75 minutes, Manuel Navarro brings us closer to different aspects of the life and work of the Italian emperor, traveling through numerous scenarios that hosted outstanding chapters of his reign.
Thanks to the support of the Adriano research group and the integration of regional diversity. From a historical and historiographical perspective, we have been able to delve deeper into the emperor’s political project and different biographical facets of the emperor..
