On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the tribute concert to Canito, and the official beginning of the Movida Madrileña, this program pays tribute to all its protagonists and explores through their stories and images what this cultural movement was and what it meant. ….

Venue, the mythical venue EL SOL. Time, now. Jau Fornés, a young photographer born long after it was all “over”, immortalizes a select group of emblematic characters of the MOVIDA MADRILEÑA four decades later. During the preparations for the photograph, testimonies, stories and flashbacks are told by the protagonists themselves, as well as other experts, who examine the legacy and validity of the legendary movement. The outcome will be a picture for history.
